Maj. Kristi Miner, 305th Operations Group chief pilot, pilots a KC-46 Pegasus in place to receive fuel from another KC-46, both assigned to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey during their first mission over the North Atlantic Ocean, Dec. 2, 2021. Less than a month after being in the 305th and 514th Air Mobility Wings’ control, the two aircrafts were tasked with their first mission to test the operation and maintenance processes put in place prior to the aircrafts arrival.
