The 87th Medical Group supports nine Wing equivalents and 88 mission partners by enabling a medically fit Joint Force, providing mission-ready medics, and improving the health of our community by delivering patient-centered care! The 87th MDG supports more than 42,000 Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, retirees, civilians, and their families living and working on and around Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. 87th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron
The 87th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron delivers human performance enhancement, sustainment, and recovery through quality healthcare services in operational medicine, optometry, physical therapy, mental health, dental, and physiological care for 7.7K all-Service/all
Component military members on the Department of Defenses’ only tri-Service joint base. Provides occupational medicine, public health, and environmental health to 48K base personnel from 5 wings, USAF EC & 88 mission partners. Readies and deploys personnel ISO contingencies.
87th Healthcare Operations Squadron
The 87th Healthcare Operations Squadron ensures maximum readiness and enhanced combat medical capability on JB MDL by the delivery of acute and chronic care, immunizations, pediatric care and clinical preventative services for 78K Eligible Beneficiaries. Delivers 24-hour ambulance coverage, partners with civilian hospitals and urgent care centers and augments the Emergency Medical System in two counties.
87th Medical Support Squadron
The 87th Medical Support Squadron provides personnel, financial, manpower, logistical, information systems, pharmacy, laboratory, TRICARE and medical readiness support to the 87th Medical Group. Serves 78K total force Airmen, Guardians, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, civilians and dependents. Supports five Wings, 88 installation mission partners, and 110 GSU’s. Maintains all medical War Reserve Materiel assets for the 87th Air Base Wing, 305th Air Mobility Wing, 621st Contingency Response Wing, and 11 mission partner units.
