 PA Support Request Form

The Joint Base Public Affairs Office provides professional photography and video for Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and mission partners. The PA Office is not funded, equipped or manned to replace services provided by the Document Automation Production Services (DAPS).

JB MDL PA provides official support to installation and wing (or service-equivalent) level units or above. When photographers or photographic equipment resources are not available, the PA office may offer consumer-grade still photographic equipment for self-help. 
If you need to reserve self-help equipment, please call our Visual Information Lab at 609-754-3581.

Studio Photography and Graphics Support

Joint Base Photo Studio

Official Head and Shoulder Photos are taken Mondays and Tuesdays, 9am-3pm, on a walk-in basis. The studio is closed both days from 11am-12pm. E-9/O-6 and above: email 87.abw.pa@us.af.mil to schedule your official photo.

Base Tours

The Public Affairs Office offers tours March through October.

Group sizes for tours must be between 20-40 participants. The minimum age range is 8 years old.

All tours are subject to change or cancellation depending on mission requirements

Noise Complaints

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst is committed to being a good neighbor. Our service members are training constantly, so you may hear or see flying operations or range training which varies from small arms fire to heavy artillery. Maintaining public safety while ensuring our mission of training America's fighting forces to deploy in support of national security is our number one priority. Speaker Requests

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst provides its service members an opportunity to connect with the local community through the speaker's bureau program. The program lets service members support local events as speakers or representatives of the base. Likewise, it gives community members a chance to learn more about the military and more specifically, the missions at JBMDL.

 

Speaker's bureau are available to speak on a variety of topics such as career opportunities, military history and leadership skills.

 

To request a speaker, download the Speaker Request Form below and submit it to the Joint Base Public Affairs office no later than four weeks prior to the event.

                                                                             

 

 

 

External Communication Rules

All Joint Base MDL personnel must adhere to this Air Force Instruction in the event of hosting outside key leaders.

IAW AFI 35-101 and DODi 5230.29 - Inviting legislative personnel, media, foreign military or dignitaries on base; public presentations; speaking engagements in the community; or writing about the military all must go through Public Affairs Security and Policy Review process.

Freedom of Information Act

Under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, written requests for McGuire Air Force Base records may be received by postal service, facsimile or electronically at foia@mcguire.af.mil. Requests received by facsimile or electronically must have a mailing address included since it may not be practical to provide a substantive response electronically.
