MDL aircrews train for survival
Staff Sgt. Andy Keiser, a 32nd Air Refueling Squadron boom operator, communicates with a refueler circling above to secure his and four other Airmen's rescue during a Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape exercise at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, Nov. 8, 2016. After communicating their location with the refueler using an encrypted radio code, the simulated isolated Airmen were rescued by the Marine Aircraft Group 49.
