AMC TES evaluations tactics for NASA rescues
A test participant from Alaska Air National Guard unit prepares to deploy a MK25 maritime position marker from the ramp of a C-17A aircraft during AMC Test and Evaluation’s tactics, development and evaluation test on Jan. 22, 2020. Testing executed over open waters about 40 miles off the Atlantic coast of Florida. This operational test will evaluate the protocols for deployment of flares and position markers from a C-17 aircraft to provide expanded capabilities for NASA crewed space flight rescues.
