AMC TES evaluations tactics for NASA rescues

A test participant prepares to deploy an illumination flare from the ramp of a C-17A aircraft during AMC Test and Evaluation’s tactics, development and evaluation test on Jan. 22, 2020. Testing executed over open waters about 40 miles off the Atlantic coast of Florida. This test is to evaluate the procedures for utilization of Air Force C-17A aircraft in NASA crewed capsule water search and rescue operations.
