U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Marines assigned to Battery G, 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, fire a Howitzer during a combined-arms live-fire exercise at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, March 21, 2026. The CALFEX, led by 2nd Bn., 25th Marines Regt., included a forward arming and refueling point established by Marine Wing Support Squadron 472, and integrated forces from Marine Forces Reserve units based in New Jersey to conduct aviation and ground operations throughout the exercise. Participating units included Combat Logistics Battalion 25; 125 Headquarters and Support; Marine Aircraft Group 49; Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 772; and Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773.
