F-4 Phantom II – A legend restored to glory

A newly restored F-4 Phantom II military aircraft is transported out of Hangar 1 to its new location as a static display in Navy Lakehurst Air Park at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., July 1, 2026. The restoration, which took 13 months to complete, was accomplished by a team of 13 volunteers that included Airmen, Sailors, retired veterans, members of the Navy Lakehurst Historical Society and other civilians.
