Mid Atlantic Army Recruiting Battalion teaches Students the Combat Lifesaver Course

The Mid Atlantic Army Recruiting Battalion and the Joint

Base-McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Medical Simulation Training Center, conducted

Combat Lifesaver Training to high school students who demonstrated an

interested in the medical field.  The training was offed over a three day

period, June 25-27 2019 on Fort Dix.  Training began promptly at 8:00 a.m.

each day and concluded at approximately 5:00 p.m.  The high school juniors,

seniors and grads, from the New Jersey and Pennsylvania area, participated

in activities that introduced them to Combat Lifesaving and Tactical Combat

Casualty Care.

The Combat Lifesaver Course is designed for the non-medical Service Member

and provides advanced tactical first aid training beyond the level of

self-aid or buddy care.  The course is a combination of classroom and hands

on activities.  Physical activities are involved during the real-life

scenario training.

 

The Mid Atlantic Battalion would like to thank those who made this event
