Joseph Busacca (right) began his 40-year career as an enlisted Air Force member in 1972. He entered civil service in 1976 after four years of military service and worked as an entry-level mailroom clerk with the Veteran Administration in North Port, N.Y. He transferred to the Army Corps of Engineers in 1978 where he worked as a pipefitter. He relocated to New Jersey in 1981 where he began his career as a plumber with the 438th Civil Engineer Squadron Housing Maintenance Flight. He transitioned to the heating career field and worked as a pipefitter until 1993. His position was converted to a boiler plant operator so he relocated to the 305th CES Central Heat Plant. He has been employed as a heating, ventilation and air conditioning mechanic in the grade of WG-10 with the 87th CES since 1999.
Harold R. MartinezNazario served as a chemical entry team member in the Army from 1965 to 1967 and then as a mortar crewman from 1974 to 1984. He began his tenure with the installation in 1985 as a monitor and operator for sports. He moved to the inmate grounds as a monitor in 2004. (U.S. Air Force photo by Wayne Russell/Released)
