JB MDL families appeciate Earth's splendor
Bethany, 2, went from searching for archeological treasures to just playing in the sand at the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Earth Day event April 21 at the Laurel Pond Recreation Area. Bethany is the daughter of Dora and Sgt. 1st Class Saifoloi Iosefatu, Army NCO Academy. This base-wide activity gave community members the opportunity to enjoy educational exhibits from local nature centers, canoe on Laurel Pond, hike and view wild animal displays.
