JB MDL returning to normal operations Published Aug. 28, 2011 By Joint Base Public Affairs JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. -- Hurricane Irene is slowly moving out of the area. However, this storm has left behind some damage and flooding throughout the base and the State of New Jersey. Monday reporting conditions for JB MDL are as follows: - Non-mission essential personnel should report for duty four hours after their normal reporting time. - Mission essential personnel are expected to report for work at their normally scheduled times. Although personnel are expected to report for duty at the above mentioned times, the primary concern of joint base leadership is the safety of servicemembers and civilians. If road conditions within the area are unsafe for traveling, contact your immediate supervisor to determine the best course of action. Additionally, while HURCON ALL CLEAR for the base has been declared, we urge you to keep safety on your mind. Particularly, as you drive to work and on base.
