A new Army & Air Force Exchange program is taking the guesswork out of setting up communication offerings at and around Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

Through the Exchange Home Services initiative, Soldiers, Airmen and their families can now go online and compare local options for TV, internet and telephone, individually or bundled, to ensure they are receiving the best deals in their area.

"Exchange Home Services will not only make life easier for those that are PCSing to Joint Base MDL, but also for those who just want to shop smarter by comparing their current service to other options available to them," said Sheila Hall, joint base BX manager. "They simply make their selection and then schedule start-up, all online or through the call center."

By logging onto www.aafes.com/HomeServices or calling 1-877-836-5205, authorized exchange shoppers can provide a street address and ZIP code, on- or off-base, to quickly make side-by-side comparisons of features and prices from top providers.

A recent search, specific to Joint Base MDL, yields TV options ranging from $19.99-84.99, telephone service starting at $17.99-44.95 and Internet connections from $19.99-189.99.
