All is not quiet on the set as exchange shoppers still have more than a month to showcase their creative skills in the Army & Air Force Exchange Service's (AAFES) "It's My Benefit 2" video contest.

Dubbed "Rediscover the Value of AAFES," the video competition focuses on thirty-second to one-minute commercials that demonstrate what the AAFES benefit means to the filmmaker. Video submissions, vying for one of three shopping sprees valued at $1,000, $500 and $250, can be uploaded through the Patriot Family Link http://www.aafes.com/Patriot_Family/home.asp at www.aafes.com anytime before June 20.

"We have received some very entertaining and creative submissions that are certainly worthy of being used in AAFES' marketing efforts," said Chief Marketing Officer Mat Dromey. "With more than a month to go, I anticipate the talent pool will get even deeper as we approach the deadline."

Complete rules concerning the "It's My Benefit 2" contest, including some subject matter ideas, are available online at the AAFES Community Connection www.aafes.com/Patriot_Family/videocontest2.asp. The first round of judging will be conducted around June 30 when 10 semi-finalists will be identified based on creativity, accuracy of information and promotion of the value AAFES offers. Final judging and winners of the AAFES video contest are expected to be announced around July 20.
