305 SFS military working dogs
All military working dogs are also trained in regular patrol. Here, the 305th Security Forces Squadron Military working Dogs Section work on assailant subduing. Tech. Sgt. Andre Brooks, a 305th Security Forces Squadron dog handler playing the part of an assailant, used the aggression stick (on the ground), to aggravate Pito, a military working dog assigned to the 305th SFS. The stick, which makes a loud popping sound like a whip, works by sound and movement but is never used to strike a dog. Pito follows the commands of his handler, Senior Airman Ryan Knoph also of the 305th SFS; he is told when to attack (subdue) and when to heal, but he will only heal when the aggressor stops resisting.
