McGuire's Combined Federal Campaign recently ended with a successful turnout. In addition to 100 percent contact, McGuire raised $189,000, which exceeded the original goal.

"Overall, I am really impressed with the number of contributors and the amount of people who gave," said Capt. Christopher Percy, CFC lead. "... It's a great testament that even in these difficult economic times, there are so many people out there who really care about helping others."

The CFC closing ceremony was officially held Nov. 25 at Club Dix; however, last-minute donations are still being accepted until Dec. 15.

The CFC is the world's largest annual workplace charity campaign, according to its Web site, www.opm.gov./CFC. Each year, millions of dollars are contributed by federal civilian, postal and military personnel to support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.

For more information, visit the Web site. To make a donation, contact Captain Percy no later than Dec. 15 at (609) 754-3567.
