Left, Col. Balan Ayyar, 305th Air Mobility Wing commander, presents a McGuire Can Do Crew award to Senior Airman Jamie Lynn Brooks, 305th Maintenance Operations Squadron. Her nomination is as follows: “Although Airman Brooks has only been in the analysis career field for a little more than two years, her quick thinking and outstanding professionalism will lead you to think she is a veteran of the field. Due to low-manning issues, she has single-handedly managed both of her section's analyst programs for KC-10s and C-17s for more than six consecutive months. The reports are always on time, and her proactive approach ensures the job gets done well. As the office training monitor, she ensures her nine co-workers comply with all training requirements on a weekly basis. Additionally, her section can always count on her to remember everyone’s birthday’s and coordinate the celebrations. She comes in every day with a positive attitude ready to perform her best. Her co-worker, Staff Sgt. Erin Smith said, ‘Airman Brooks brings laughter, knowledge, enthusiasm and a Can Do attitude to everything she does ... It is people like (Airman Brooks) that make working in the 305th MOS a joyful and proud experience.’" Be aware that the Can Do Crew is everywhere, looking for outstanding service. They covertly seek members of Team McGuire who make a difference, identifying and recognizing only the best! Remember, the strongest asset of Team McGuire is its people; you are what makes McGuire a better place to live, work and play!
