Due to a tremendous response, tickets for the ball are currently sold out. However, names of those who desire to purchase tickets can still be added to the waiting list. The event is scheduled for Sept. 26, 6 p.m., at the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, N.J. "McGuire's Air Force Ball will be the premier event of the year with excellent dining, dancing and live entertainment all night," said Maj. Chris Lesnick, McGuire Air Force Ball lead coordinator. "The event staff is diligently working to ensure guests have a great time and walk away with a memorable experience." For those who have purchased tickets to the ball, make sure to visit the Web site, www.mcguireairforceball.com, for details on everything from available transportation to the dress code. For McGuire members with children 6 years and older, the McGuire Youth Center is offering free child care the night of the event from 4:30 p.m. to midnight. Members must register no later than Sept. 19 at noon by calling the Youth Center at (609) 754-5437. For overnight plans, the rooms offered at a discount rate are sold out; however, regular room rates may still be available at the Trump Plaza or surrounding hotels.
