The McGuire Officers' Spouses' Club recently awarded more than $18,000 in scholarships to Air Force family members at a scholarship reception honoring key Thrift Shop volunteers and scholarship recipients.

Each year, the MOSC awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to deserving students. All scholarship funds are raised by the club through its welfare fund, the Thrift Ship and the club's annual scholarship auction. Award recipients must be "Air Force family" graduating high school seniors, students already pursuing undergraduate college studies and military spouses. Scholarship awards are based on academic achievement, leadership, character, community and school activities.
