The 2007 Combined Federal Campaign is well underway here. Team McGuire members gathered at the McGuire Falcon Creek Golf Course Nov. 1 to help contribute to the cause.

Since beginning the campaign here Oct. 18, McGuire has made 18 percent contact with its personnel. The goal is to reach 100 percent of the 305th Air Mobility Wing's population.

"The CFC is an extremely worthwhile cause," said Maj. Mike Brazelton, 305 AMW CFC representative. "Last year, the CFC (as a whole) raised $250 million, which benefits people all over the world. This is one way McGuire members can give back to the community."

The CFC was established in 1961 and is the largest workplace charity campaign in the country. This annual fall fundraising drive allows nearly four million federal employees and military members to contribute to thousands of local and national non-profit organizations. The annual campaign is scheduled to continue through Nov. 30 here.
