Lt. Col. Donald Cole takes command of the 305th Medical Support Squadron in a change of command ceremony Monday at 10 a.m. at The Club.

He succeeds Lt. Col. Jeffrey Snyder, commander of the 305 MDSS since July 2004. Colonel Snyder's new assignment will be as the 60th Diagnostics and Therapeutics Squadron pharmacy flight commander at Travis AFB, Calif.

Colonel Cole came to the 305th Medical Group from the Global Patient Movement Requirements Center, Scott AFB, Ill., where he led one of the United States' Transportation Command's most diverse and complex medical units.

The new 305 MDSS commander earned his commission and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn. Since then, he has served as a director of patient administration, hospital administrator, director of marketing and communications, business operations and beneficiary services flight commander, and chief of operations.
