Can Do Crew 20
The Can Do Crew would like to recognize Ms. Deborah Hurd, 305th Services Squadron McGuire Library, for her model "Can Do" attitude. Right before closing time March 2, Ms. Hurd diligently worked to locate a young girl’s particular book for a school presentation. Ms. Hurd looked up the code in the system which brought them to the children's section. Only one of the two books on file was in its place, but the customer was looking for a more formal version of the story. Ms. Hurd told the family that the children's section of the library had been changed around and the other book may have been misfiled on the other side of the room. She checked the entire area herself, but did not find the book. Instead of telling the family it was not where it was supposed to be, she kept searching other avenues. A few minutes later, she found the book in another area of the library. The family said, "Deborah Hurd was very pleasant and took the time to help us, just 15 minutes before the library was closing for the day. She did show the ‘Can Do’ attitude that all of us strive for." Thank you to Ms. Hurd for exemplifying the "Can Do" spirit and inspiring those around her to do the same!
