305th MDG opens new Joint Minor Illness, Injury Center Published Jan. 25, 2007 MCGUIRE AIR FORCE BASE, N.J. -- The 305th Medical Group opened the Joint Minor Illness and Injury Center, formerly the Urgent Care Center, Jan. 19. The JMIIC offers a variety of after-hour, minor illness and injury care. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 5 to 8 p.m., Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sundays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and holidays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The JMIIC operates on a walk-in basis for TRICARE Prime beneficiaries. The JMIIC is co-located with the Immunizations Clinic on the first floor of the medical group, and is staffed by a team composed of a physician, a nurse, two medical technicians, a laboratory technician and a radiology technician. It is equipped to handle non-emergency, acute minor illnesses and injuries that need prompt attention and is not to be used for "sick call."
