AMC CC visits McGuire for AF birthday

MCGUIRE AIR FORCE BASE, N.J. --  Gen. Duncan J. McNabb, Air Mobility Command commander, his wife, Linda, and AMC Command Chief Chief Master Sgt. Joseph Barron, Jr., arrived here Wednesday to meet with base Airmen and attend the base's Air Force birthday celebration. 

During his visit, the general is receiving briefings about Team McGuire organizations and is visiting numerous facilities such as the passenger terminal, freight terminal, Halverson Hall and the combined maintenance operations facility. 

Saturday evening, General and Mrs. McNabb, will attend the Team McGuire Air Force Birthday Celebration "Salute to Warriors" here, where the general will be the guest speaker. The event will honor the service's 59 years as a separate branch of the military. The general and his wife will leave McGuire Sunday for Andrews Air Force Base, Md.
