Soldiers celebrate ASA birthday

Army Support Activity, Dix, celebrated its birthday at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., July 16, 2021. Dix was established as Camp Dix July 16, 1917 and used as a reception and training station for the Civilian Conservation Corps until 1939 and Army basic combat training until 1990. Today it is responsible for providing training opportunities to build readiness throughout the Joint Force.
