Members of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., attend the U.S. Air Force Ball in Atlantic City, N.J., Sept. 21, 2024. The annual event honors the U.S. Air Force’s heritage of air and space dominance. The U.S. Air Force Ball celebrates its 77th birthday and recognize some of its many accomplishments, such as forming its own independent branch from the U.S. Army, pioneering cutting edge technology and opening new doors of opportunity for those who wish to serve their country.
