JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. -- An Airman from the 605th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron died as a result of an off-base vehicle accident at approximately 7 a.m. Feb. 6, 2025, near Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending 24 hours after next-of-kin notification.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of our fallen teammate,” said Col. Kathleen Hasson, 305th Air Mobility Wing commander. “All of the 305th AMW are grieving the loss of a member of our Air Force family. We have several helping agencies available for anyone who needs assistance and encourage our teammates to reach out during this difficult time.”
