JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. --  The following members stationed at JB MDL or its associate units were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice in March 2016:

Non-judicial punishment actions

A Senior Airman from a tenant unit received an Article 15 for failing to pay his Government Travel Card balance.  The squadron commander imposed the following punishment: Suspended reduction to the grade of Airman 1st Class, 30 days extra duty, and a reprimand.

An Airman 1st Class from the 305th Operations Group received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty and being absent without leave.  The squadron commander imposed the following punishment:  Suspended reduction to the grade of Airman, forfeiture of $150.00 pay per month for two months, and a reprimand.

A  Senior Airman from the 305th Maintenance Group received an Article 15 for underage drinking.  The squadron commander imposed the following punishment:  Reduction to the grade of Airman, with the reduction below Airman 1st Class suspended, forfeiture of $878.00 pay per month for two months, that portion of the forfeitures in excess of $878.00 pay per month for one month suspended, 5 days extra duty, and a reprimand.

A Senior Airman from the 621st Contingency Response Group received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty and being absent without leave.  The squadron commander imposed the following punishment:  Reduction to the grade of Airman, with the reduction below Airman 1st Class suspended, suspended forfeiture of $878.00 pay per month for two months, and a reprimand. The suspended punishment was subsequently vacated when the member was charged with driving while intoxicated.

A Staff Sgt. from the 87th Mission Support Group received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty, and making a false official statement.  The squadron commander imposed the following punishment:  Reduction to the grade of Senior Airman, suspended forfeiture of $1,191.00 pay per month for two months, and a reprimand.

A Staff Sgt. from the 87th Mission Support Group received an Article 15 for being absent without leave.  The squadron commander imposed the following punishment:  Reduction to the grade of Senior Airman, suspended forfeiture of $1,241.00 pay, and a reprimand.
