JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. -- Mission Spotlights are a weekly photo slideshow highlighting the mission of a unit. This week's Mission Spotlight focuses on the 6th Airlift Squadron. The 6th AS's primary mission is flying the C-17 Globemaster III to enable global mobility with its large capacity for cargo and personnel. The 305th and 514th Air Mobility Wings share the C-17s and work together at JB MDL to carry out the Air Mobility Command mission.
