JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. -- Mission Spotlights are a weekly photo slideshow highlighting the mission of a unit. This week's Mission Spotlight focuses on the 6th Airlift Squadron. The 6th AS is the oldest airlift squadron in the U.S. Air Force and is responsible for 15 C-17 Globemasters - the Air Force's workhorse in providing troop and cargo transport.
