Fuel systems Airmen from the 380th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron perform aerial refueling in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. The aerial refueling capability of the KC-10 Extender allows other aircraft to remain in battle spaces for prolonged duration sorties. The Extender Aircraft Maintenance Unit is comprised of more than 130 maintainers from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. The Airmen are tasked with the responsibility of providing safe and reliable aircraft to fulfill the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing's mission.
