Rodeo 2009: Winners announced for competitions

MCCHORD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. --  Air Mobility Rodeo 2009 ended today with closing ceremony celebration and the announcement of 74 awards including the coveted "Best of the Best" award. The competition is the U.S. Air Force's and Air Mobility Command's premier mobility competition. 

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst teams took home a total of nine awards. 

Airmen from the 87th Security Forces team won Best Combat Endurance Team and Best Close Precision Engagement Team.

Teams from the 305th AMW and 514th AMW won Best C-17 Backing/Combat Offload Crew, Best KC-10 Cargo Loading Crew, Best KC-10 Pre-flight Crew and Best KC-10 Maintenance Team. 

The 621st CRW team was named Best Contingency Response Team, Best Contingency Response HELAMS Team and Best Contingency Response SPICE Team.

Best Aerial Port Team: 19th AW, Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark.
