"We are so pleased to offer hourly care for infants and toddlers in addition to the ongoing hourly care for children older than 3," said Lt. Col. John Clark, 305th Services Squadron commander. ''This new program adds to the quality of life for McGuire families." "Parents who need flexible hourly care for errands, appointments or meetings can now call the CDC for child care," said Sonia Roney, CDC 2 assistant director. "Even if they just want alone time or are looking for a simple break, the CDC is here to help." Hourly care will be available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., on a space-available basis. After the initial registration is complete, parents can make reservations over the phone. Child care for children under age 3 is being offered at $6 per hour. For children over age 3, the $3 per hour rate remains. The new program is also great for parents who want to get their older children involved in early socialization with others their own age, Ms. Roney said. "I encourage all parents to get involved in this great program. The CDC offers great quality of care for children and flexibility to meet parent's needs." For more information, call the CDC at (609) 754-3661. Parents must bring their child's current immunization record and emergency contact information to CDC 2 to register. The initial registration paperwork can be done Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
