Moore hails from Soda Springs, Idaho. Q: Why did you join the military? A: I joined to become part of something bigger than just me; something that would greatly impact my life and other lives. I've always liked to help others and better myself. I've found countless opportunities for both through the Air Force. Q: What is your job and what is its impact on the mission? A: As an aircraft maintainer, I help fix and maintain KC-10s and C-17s. I perform scheduled and time-change maintenance required to support worldwide missions. Q: Do you have any past or current family members in the military? A: My grandpa was a retiree for the Air Force. My father served a single enlistment in the Army. My uncle, who has been deployed three times to the Middle East, is currently serving in the Army. Q: Who most inspires you? A: My oldest sister, she's always taught me to stick to what I believe and keep going even when times get tough. Q: What is one thing you'd like your fellow service members to take away or understand about the military? A: It doesn't matter what you do, big or small, everything and everyone is essential.
