JB MDL civilians reach 40-year milestone

Richard J. Esbensen, 87th Civil Engineer Squadron project manager, receives a Certificate of Service for 40 years of federal service from Col. John Wood, 87th Air Base Wing commander, April 23, 2013, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. Esbensen started his career as a pipefitter apprentice for the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard in June 1969. Throughout his career, he has served as a supervisor of the Pipefitting Shop 56, a general foreman a supervisor of maintenance mechanics and the supervisor for the Directorate of Public Works.
