Airmen off-load cargo, assist with Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts

JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. -- Staff Sgt. Tim Jaskot, 437th Airlift Wing loadmaster, Joint Base Charleston, S.C., works with Kurk Shriver, Bonneville Power Administration lineman, to get a work truck off of a C-17 Globemaster III here Nov. 3, 2012. The supplies included two line trucks, a bucket truck and a set of mobile flood lights, which will be used to support relief efforts in Staten Island and Long Island, N.Y. A total-force team of active-duty, Guard and Reserve Airmen continue to work side-by-side with federal, state and local mission partners to assist in the Northeast region's recovery from Hurricane Sandy.
