Tuskegee Airman's service recognized
Congressman Jon Runyan, N.J. 3rd Congressional District, presents retired Chief Master Sgt. James A. Cotten a replica of the Congressional Gold Medal awarded to the Tuskegee Airmen in 2007 by President George W. Bush May 3 here. Cotten was drafted into the U.S. Army Aug. 14, 1945, and upon completion of basic training in January 1946, he was selected for assignment to the famed Tuskegee Airmen 332nd Fighter Group, the all African-American Army Air Corps Unit.
