JB MDL families appeciate Earth's splendor
Christina, 11, and Ryan, 6, color in the tail of Ryan’s paper dove he built during the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Earth Day event April 21 at the Laurel Pond Recreation Area. Christina and Ryan are children of Mary and Master Sgt. Stephen Cochling, U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center instructor. They later tested their doves to see how far they would fly. This arts and crafts activity was one of the ways community members learned about the importance of Earth Day. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Bryan Swink/Released)
