Senior Airman Ronald Bender, 305th Maintenance Squadron welding and machining specialist originally from Lakeland, Fla., uses a Mig Welder to performs a spot weld on mild steel to be used age aerospace ground equipment Feb. 6, 2012, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. All 305th MXS Airmen play a role in maintaining aircraft equipment in mission-ready status to ensure Air Mobility Command’s ability to maintain Global Reach for the nation. The 305th MXS Airmen have provided support for operations New Dawn, Southern Watch, Northern Watch, Noble Eagle, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom as well as presidential and vice-presidential support.
