NAVAIR interns participate in KC-10 air refueling mission

Senior Airman Alex W. Pugh, 32nd Air Refueling Squadron flight engineer, gives a safety briefing to Naval Air Systems Command Lakehurst’s Professional Development Group interns on board a KC-10 Extender, before a tanker hook-up and aerial refueling mission. The interns flew aboard two of the wing’s KC-10’s air-refueling tankers in a four-hour mission which took them out over the Atlantic Ocean, up through northern New York and back to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.
