Marine TRAP exercise
Lance Cpl. Ryan Jackson, a crew chief with the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773, pushes a UH-1N Iroquois helicopter main rotor counter clockwise as the pilot starts the engine Oct. 15. Reservists with the Marine Aircraft Group 49 practiced their ability to recover downed aircrew from behind enemy lines. UH-1N Iroquois helicopters and AH-1W Super Cobra helicopters were used during the Joint TRAP exercise to provide cover-fire support. Jackon’s home town is Cleveland, Texas.
