Storm proves JB MDL's resolve
Airmen from the 87th Civil Engineer Squadron gather branches and debris found on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst after Hurricane Irene swept across the East Coast Aug. 26 through 28. Once the storm had passed over the joint base the crews drove around assessing the overall damage and formulating a plan of how to clean up the debris. Downed trees and flooding were the biggest issues the joint base faced. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Bryan Swink/Released)
