VFW chief visits
Thomas J. Tradewell, commander in chief of Veterans of Foreign Wars, visits the Wounded Warriors on Dix Oct.29. He handied out VFW pins and thanked them for their service to the country. Mr. Tradewell spoke about the VFW, veterans' issues and quality of life initiatives for active -duty, Reserve, and Guard members. Mr. Tradewell served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968 with B Company 26th Engineers 198th Light Infantry Brigade in South Vietnam as a demolition specialist. (U.S. Air Force photo/Carlos Cintron)
