Joint Base ORI
Deployed in support of the Operational Readiness Inspection at the Alpena County Regional Airport in Alpena, Mich., Airmen from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., assemble in a simulated bunker as they prepare to respond to inspection scenerios. An ORI tests a unit's readiness and capability to deploy people, cargo and aircraft to a forward location. It also tests the unit's ability to survive and operate in a combat environment.
