305 SFS military working dogs

The 305th Security Forces Squadron Military Working Dog Section is constantly training and team bonding. Here Tech. Sgt. Andre Brooks, handler, and Rambo practice a tandem takedown of training assailants (left) Senior Airman Ryan Knoph, handler, and (right) Staff Sgt. Stephen Upton, kennel master and trainer. During a tandem takedown, the handler pats down and detains one suspect while the dog watches the other suspect. Any sudden or aggressive movement by the assailant under the watch of the dog puts him back into “takedown mode”. This is just one example of how the team - dog and handler - protects each other.
