305 SFS military working dogs

A daily run through the obstacle course is not only good exercise for Senior Airman Ryan Knoph and Pito, handler and military working dog of the 305th Security Forces Squadron, but also a vital part of their team building. Here, Pito practices going up and down steps, which help to get the dogs used to going up and down aircraft entrance stands. Military Working dogs start their training - like all military members - at Lackland AFB, Texas; they then get “assignment orders” to home stations to finish their training.
