Metals tech: Just what the doctor ordered for aircraft
Senior Airman Michael Rogers, 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron metals technician, makes an alignment to a pin that is used on the KC-135 May 14. The alignment will improve the angle of attack measurement for the KC-135. Metals technicians can sculpt metal to form tools and parts used to repair aircraft. They provide parts for mission requirements in lieu ordering parts from a non-military source.(U.S. Air Force photo/ Senior Airman Domonique Simmons)
