305th MXS sheet metal shop ensures structural integrity of airframes
Staff Sgt. Lynn Plemons, 305th Maintenance Squadron Maintenance Fabrication Flight training manager, uses a right angle sanding disk to smooth out the edges on an external power cord receptacle bracket. This prevents the metal from cracking during flight. The primary mission of the sheet metal shop is to ensure structural integrity of KC-10 and C-17 airframes. (U.S. Air Force photo/Carlos Cintron)
