Theodore Kraszka, mental health NCOIC and Bronze Star recipient, take Airman 1st Class Nichole Kuck, mental health tech, on a training run through “Virtual IRAQ”. Virtual IRAQ is the latest in technology used to assist Airmen and troops with post traumatic stress disorders. Using the senses of sight (virtual glasses), hearing (headset), feeling (vibrating platform), and even smell (distinct scents) to help patients during prolonged exposure therapy.
