Once cargo pallets leave the 305th Aerial Port Squadron loading platforms, they are loaded onto C-17’s, KC-10's, C-5's and C-130's. In this photo, cargo pallets are being loaded onto a civilian B-747 using a K-loader. The K-loader can hold six pallets, each weighing up to 10,000 pounds, for a total weight of 60,000 pounds. The B-747 can hold 33 pallets on the upper deck and nine on the lower deck. (U.S. Air Force photo/Carlos Cintron)
